My passion for understanding human behaviour led me to explore the fascinating intersection of technology and human experience through UX design. It all started during the lockdown when my A Levels were canceled. Seeking a new skill, I delved into web design and immediately fell in love with it. The ability to positively impact people’s lives through thoughtful and empathetic design solutions became incredibly satisfying. I realised that these designs not only impact businesses but also transform the way people interact with various technologies.
Through internships and freelance design projects, I began to grasp the vastness of this field. Recommendations from peers led me to dive deeper into UX/UI design, where I discovered significant overlaps in skills. Eager to explore the world of design further, I made the decision to embark on a placement year within product design alongside my degree. This opportunity allowed me to work on diverse projects, both independently and collaboratively, where I faced various design challenges and applied newfound knowledge and skills.
As a perpetual learner, I constantly seek to acquire new skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and gain fresh perspectives. Beginning my professional journey, I am eager to collaborate with talented individuals to create enhanced user experiences. I am open to any opportunities that will further refine my skills and allow me to contribute to real-world design challenges.
In my spare time, I find joy in engaging in various activities, I often play badminton an enjoy swimming. Additionally, I have a passion for the performing arts, particularly singing and dancing. Throughout my university journey, I was involved in these extracurricular activities. These pursuits not only serve as enjoyable pastimes but also reflect my commitment to maintaining a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle, contributing positively to both my personal and academic growth.
I enjoy painting when I’m not working 🙂
